Hello..as I was searching in Rootsweb for some of my family names I happened across your search for this Surname. I have compiled a book of Pioneer's of Medina County, Ohio and remembered that I have seen this name in my search for my book. This book covers newspaper articles, wedding, deaths, mini biographies, court records, cemetery records for most of the cemeteries in Medina Co., and much more.. from as early as 1830's to 1911. Although I am bound by certain rules by my publisher, I will send along the names of those who are listed. Henry, Abram, Catharine, Elizabeth (Mihills), Elizabeth R., George, Jacob, John S., Margaret (Poorman), Mary, Sarah C. If you are interested in the book or would like me to look up another surname for you please let me know. Good luck in your search..I know I have spent hours just to find one piece of my family tree puzzle. Beverly Thank you for contacting me, I believe that my Elisa, and someplace else Elvira, and Alvira could be a BRINKER. All I have is E.B. on a 1880 Census. They did live in Rockford, IL. in 1876 this was when there daughter Alice WALKER married my grandfather, Putney I. BATCHELDER/ In the researching that I have done, mine is married to Nelson A.Walker. I have done some searching in OH. but have not definitely connected to just where or when she was born abt. 1835? If you have the time, would appreciate any help in finding her for me would be appreciated. How wonderful that you were able to do a book on your family and others. Once again Thank You. glenroseb@earthlink.net
I have Walkers in my book....but no Alice...No Batchelder....but when I get to the surname B book I will have some. I will post to the Batchelder list when I get it done. Sorry I sure wish I could have helped.
