My great grandfather was Johan Fredrick William Brinker. Most records however show him as Fred W. Brinker. His wife was Gertrude Sommer Brinker. Fred and Gertrude had 10 children one of whom was named Frederick Aloysius Brinker. Fred A. Brinker was born Oct.20 1890. My grand father was John Henry Brinker was his older brother and was born in 1876. My father Vincent Brinker was born in 1911 and may have known his uncle Fred A. Brinker. He may not since our family stories say all of Fred W. Brinkers sons left home by the time they were 14 years of age. I will ask Dad tomorrow if he knew Fred A.
