She was the daughter of Theodore and Elizabeth Brinker. Theodore and Elizabeth had three other children: Bernard, Gerhard and Agnes. It seems that during the 1860's Theodore and Elizabeth died as did Theodores brother Joseph and Joseph's wife, Bernadine, married Gerhard Wolke and adopted the four children. I don't know if they had any children of their own. Your message stated that possibly Joseph was killed in the Civil War. Possibly Theodore was also. I haven't researched that as yet. My Gr-Grandmother Bernadine married my Gr-Grandfather Bernard Feld in 1877 at St. Mary's Church, downtown Cincinnati. Bernadine died in 1926 and is buried with Bernard and many of her children who died in their infancy. They are buried at St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Bernard. I'd like to correspond with you Theresa.
