She was born Oct. 11, 1909, in Dunbar, a daughter of the late Harvey W. and Maude Dean Groff. She was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, Jeannette, Order of Eastern Star #69 of Jeannette, Amaranth #25 of Jeannette, Progressive Women's Club, and the Upstreamers Class of the church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Brinker; three sisters, Pauline Hughes, Eleanor Driscoll and Leotta Groff; and a brother, Raymond Groff. She is survived by a son, Barry G. Brinker and his wife, Patsy, of Charleroi; a daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Sandra Lee) O'Farrell of Ocean City, Md.; three grandchildren, Christopher Brinker of Jeannette, Michelle Thuma of Ocean City, Md., and David O'Farrell of Baltimore, Md.; three great-grandchildren, Ciarra and Josh Thuma and Joshua Brinker; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received a! t the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Robert Jobe officiating.
