This has been received from the Rootsweb administration: Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state. Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb. As an alternative to RootsWeb Mailing Lists, Ancestry message boards are a great option to network with others in the genealogy community. Brinker is not listed on any family trees that I have been able to find. he was adopted by Simon when he was four, but he was already listed as a Brinker on the 1930 census, then on the 1940 census he shows up living with my Aunt Helen listed as her nephew. I'm wondering if he was the son of one of the other brothers or sisters? I can't find any spouse/children listed for William F. Brakeman, might be a possibility? The picture posted on the brinker family tree looks just like my mother. She kept her past very secret . I do know that she was a waitress abd bartender all her life. She had a son in 1956 and me in 1958. We were placed in a orphange when I was five. Also when she got very sick she did speak of other children and 1 dead child. Several things seem to fit together except she spelled her name Cleo Yavonne brinker . The brinker family tree spells it Cleo lavonne brinker.
