    1. [BRINKER] Notice about Rootsweb Lists
    2. Jim Jackson
    3. This has been received from the Rootsweb administration: Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state. Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb. As an alternative to RootsWeb Mailing Lists, Ancestry message boards are a great option to network with others in the genealogy community. Message boards are available for free with an Ancestry registered account. Thank you for being part of the RootsWeb family and contributing to this community. Sincerely, The RootsWeb team If anyone has an interest in finding alternative communication possibilities and/or suggestions for alternatives, please send a note to the list to that effect ASAP. With heavy hearts, Jim and Di

    1. [BRINKER] Help Keep This List Active
    2. Jim Jackson
    3. We just wanted to encourage you all to make use of this list in your family searches. A large number of Rootsweb lists have been made inactive due to no messages over a period of time. We want to keep as many lists active as we possibly can and your participation will help toward that goal. If you have a "brick wall" in your family search, send in a message with as much information as you have and let's see if someone may be able to help fill in those blanks. Best wishes, Jim and Di

Author: bydnic Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.brinker/40.57/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I'm looking for information regarding the descendants of Jacob and Susanna, my 4 or 5 times great grandparents. Mostly I'm looking for information about my father William M. Brinker, his sister Helen R. Brinker, and his brother Simon. More importantly my cousins, Simon's children that I have lost contact with. I was devastated to find the Ricky, born the day before I was had past away at age 50. Was hoping to find information about his brothers at the least about Barry and Jerry. Also about my Aunt Helen's daughter Gail and son Wray. After Aunt Helen died in 1979, I lost all contact and source of information about the family. Any thing that you could provide would be very helpful. Thank you. Cynthia (Brinker) Brakeman Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Author: bydnic Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.brinker/40.56/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I would love to be included in information about the "Brinker" family. I have traced our family back to Jacob and Susannah, and a little further back from them. I am interested in information about Simon Brinker and Mary Shirley's children though. My Aunt Helen (Helen Rebecca Brinker) helped raise me. My father William M. Brinker is not listed on any family trees that I have been able to find. he was adopted by Simon when he was four, but he was already listed as a Brinker on the 1930 census, then on the 1940 census he shows up living with my Aunt Helen listed as her nephew. I'm wondering if he was the son of one of the other brothers or sisters? I can't find any spouse/children listed for William F. Brakeman, might be a possibility? If you have any information that might help, I would appreciate it. Thanks Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The picture posted on the brinker family tree looks just like my mother. She kept her past very secret . I do know that she was a waitress abd bartender all her life. She had a son in 1956 and me in 1958. We were placed in a orphange when I was five. Also when she got very sick she did speak of other children and 1 dead child. Several things seem to fit together except she spelled her name Cleo Yavonne brinker . The brinker family tree spells it Cleo lavonne brinker. The brinker family tree states she disappeared in or about 1952 or 54. Please let me know what you think? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
