She was born in 1818 in NY state according to census records. A biography in a Tioga County, PA history book about her husband, Abram TEACHMAN, stated she was born in Woodhull, Steuben County, NY. A review os the 1840 Federal Census for Woodhull has a John BRIMMER who could be old enough to be her father (he was between 50 and 60 on this census). Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any help is greatly appreciated.
