A little bit off the track... I am searching info on one of my great grandparents, i.e. John Boulter who I believe was a convict. I found a record through the LINC Tasmania, Tasmania's Heritage site, " Register of Convict Applications for Permission to Marry " - and there is an entry for John Boulter to marry Ann Brimmer in 1939. I guess this is the same Ann Brimmer, and I assume that the marriage therefore never took place and she married Joseph Pedder instead.
