As I was looking for information on Joseph Brimer , son of Benjamin, I ran across a marriage of a Joseph Brimer to Betsey Willett, 15 December 1801 , in Accawmack. Database: Virginia Marriages, 1740-1850, search results off of Ancestry.com. Does anyone know if this is the son of Benjamin? Also while researching Benjamin Brimer, came across " The Will of Benjamin Brimer, in the Pendleton District and Anderson County, SC Wills, Estates, Inventories, Tax Returns and Census Records. The question I need to ask has anyone determined who the children are in this record? It states: Wife Rebecah. One third to Jessey Brimer. One third to Nancy Maus (?) ,. One third to Betsey Lenard. $50 to Caty Gober. 5 sterling to Rebecah the child of Samuel Brimer deceased. Five shillings apiece to William Brimer, Polly Haney, James Brimer. Desire William Leonard see to the business. Dated Jan. 13, 1803. Proven 30 Sept. 1803. Is Samuel a son to Benjamin or a brother ?
