I am in search of any information on Tabitha Brimer (Rogers) & her husband, George Rogers. I know nothing of this couple other than the fact that they were married prior to the following deed dates. I do not find this couple listed in the book MARRIAGES of JEFFERSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE 1792-1836. William Brimer, father of Tabitha, was born in NC in 1759. He married Elizabeth ..?.. in 1784 in Washington County, NC. They lived in Rutherford County, North Carolina from September, 1785 to 1810. After that they lived in Jefferson and Sevier Counties in Tennessee. In a Jefferson County, TN Deed dated 6 Nov 1835 and registered March 19, 1840 William Brimer is shown to have a daughter by the name of Tebitha Rodgers. In a Jefferson County, TN Deed dated 6 November 1835 and registered 9 March 1847, William Brimer is shown to have a daughter by the name of Seboth Rogers. I would like to know, if possible, where George & Tabitha were married, where they lived afterward, and any children they may have had.
