They were in St. Clair County, Alabama in the 1860 census. She and a child or two were still there in 1870 census, but not Samuel. The oldest child in 1860 at home was a Johnathan-don't have a middle initial-he was 15. One of the boys was named John R. Brimer who is my great grandfather-he died in Clarendon, Ar in April of 1947. I would like to have any additional information on this John A. Brimer--maybe it could be the one called Johnathan. I have been able to get a few marriage records, several census records, and even a copy of Benjamin Brimer's will of 1803 and some information about Joseph, the eldest son of Benjamin Brimer-thanks to a Texas Brimer. Would like to hear from you and perhaps we would be able to benefit one another. Sincerely, Dean
