    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: BRIMER Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/VBG.2ACEB/117.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Well, you probably have more information than I do. I have the line back to William Brimer, Revolutionary War Veteran, b. 1759. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of information on Oakley Cleburne Brimer, even though he was my grandfather's brother. I went to Atlanta, Bloomburg, Cass Co., Texas about 3 years ago and went to the cemeteries and was able to get a photo of O.C. Brimer's headstone. I had some of the information previously. Here is all of the information that I have. The headstone definitely had "O.C." and not C.O. born 9 Mar 1906, died 20 Sep 1934. Headstone also had the inscription "an honest man is the noblest work of God" at the both of the stone. I know that he was born in Bloomburg, Cass Co., TX and died on the dates given above. He is buried at Beech Creek Cemetery, Bloomburg, Cass Co., Texas. He married Dorothy Hopkins 3 Nov 1928 in Cass Co., Texas. I found this information at the Courthouse in Linden, Cass Co., Texas in the Marriage Records for Ca! ss Co., Texas. License # 620/book 13/page 534. I wish I could help with more information about this family, but can't at the present. I will talk to my 86 y/o aunt to see if she knows or has any additional information. Would love to be able to exchange and share information. Carol
