    3. Am looking for information on John Brimer born about 1815 in Jefferson County, Tennessee according to his U. S. Army records in the Indian Wars. He married a Holybee girl about 1835 to 1840 probably in Monroe County, Tennessee or a nearby county or they may have married around Fort Gibson, Indian Territory (Oklahoma) where he was stationed in the Army. The Holybee girl was born about 1820. (Source: This information came from the pension record 2750 and 3798 of Hezekiah Holybee (her brother) for the Indian Wars.) John Brimer died 24 Oct 1843 in Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. while in the military. They may have had children but the Holybee girl whose name was changed to Brimer most likely married again so am looking for any census that may have Brimer children with parents of a different name. I know the Holybee family lived in Indian Territory (Oklahoma) in 1840s, Green and Platte Counties in Missouri in 1850s, Crawford (Fort Smith) County, Arkansas, 1850s then on to Texas and Oklahoma from 1850s to present. Some may be interested in this . A National Archives Film #350326 M-233, Roll 20, Volume 41 has on page 9, John Brimer, age 21, grey eyes, fair hair, fair complection, 5 feet 6 inches tall, born in Te (Tennessee), Jefferson County, enrolled in U. (Private) meaning that was his rank in service. Then in the same film in Volume 42, page 23, #236 is Brimer, John, age 24, grey eyes, fair hair, fair complection, 5 feet six inches tall, born Te. (Tennessee), Jefferson County, occupation - soldier, enlisted July 1st, 1839 at Ft. Gibson, by Lt. Scott, for five years in 4th inf. Co., F. Died October 24, 1843, 2nd enlistment, at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. (A Private). The pension record of Hezekiah Holybee, his brother-in-law, also states he died in Jefferson Barracks, Missouri while in service. Thanks for any help.
