Dear Hope, My name is Teri Dodd Moon and I live in Seguin, too! I am researching the Bridges line in my family tree, but they are concentrated mostly in KY and some before that in NC or TN. I have been on the Bridges and also the Thomas mailing list and have been very lucky in locating lost cousins! My family married heavily into the Thomas families who migrated about the same areas and same times as the Bridges. My Bridges were originally Bridger then Bridgers and finally Bridges. I have a book titled the Thomas and Bridges Story, by Edison H. Thomas, it is history between 1540-1840. I looked up your James in the index, but there is not much on Geogia I'm afraid.
