Polly BRIDGES was born in St. Clair County, Alabama in 1842 She married Dr. Jesse Carter ROBERTS (son of Obadiah ROBERTS and Margaret EWING) He died in 1834 in White River, Arkansas from cholera contracted from Indians he was treating .He was buried in Arkansas. After husband died, moved to Patroon, Shelby County, Texas. They had the following children: +2 i. Eliza Jane ROBERTS. SECOND GENERATION 2. Eliza Jane ROBERTS was born on 17 May 1820 in St. Clair County, Alabama. She died on 23 Mar 1870 in Timpson, Shelby County, Texas. She was 1st wife of to John Carroll MORRISON (son of Miles MORRISON and Catharine) married in ?Conway, Arkansas. John Carroll MORRISON was born on 18 Feb 1815 in Carroll County, Tennessee. He died on 15 Feb 1902 in Timpson, Shelby County, Texas. He was buried in Timpson, Shelby County, Texas in the Buena Vista Cemetery. He moved to Texas from Craig, Van Buren County, Arkansas with wife's family in 1846. They had the following children: 3 i. Eli Bentley MORRISON. 4 ii. Margaret (Marguerite) Jane MORRISON. 5 iii.
