Leslie ~ ~ snip ~ ~ "Our Boone Families, Daniel Boone's Kinfolks", by Sarah Rockenfield, pub. in 1987 listed the following Bridges. p. 236 Stella Abercrombie 10 (Robert Abercrombie 9, John Abercromie 8, Sarah Boone 7, Solomon 6, Hezekiah 5, George 4, George 3) was born Nov. 21, 1874, Ash Grove Twp., Shelby CO., IL. Died Aug. 18, 1958, Decatur, Macon CO., IL. Married John L. Bridges, May 19, 1895, Shelby Co., IL. No further information given. p. 304 Samantha Ann Bough 10 (Nancy Jane Waggoner 9, Jeremiah Waggoner 8, Sarah Boone 7, Jeremiah 6, Josiah Boone, Sr. 5, George 4, George 3), She married Franklin Baker, Sept. 28, 1875. Frank Baker's parents were Surilda Jane Bridges, daughter of Matilda Wade and Isaac Tittsworth Bridges and Hamilton Gaither Baker. Surilda Jane was born Green Co., IN March 16, 1832, died Martin Co., Oct. 7, 1872. buried Bridges Cemeter #2, Crane, IN. The children of Samantha and Franklin Baker are all Boone descendants. "Hannah Boone and Her Descendants" by Bess L. Hawthorne, published in 1960. pp. 62-63 John Stewart Pennington, 3rd son of Richard and Hannah Boone Stewart Pennington. In his descendants I find Alice Beaty born June 1, 1891, married May 28, 1911 to William Bridges born July 17, 1889. Their children were: 1. Orville Beaty Bridges, died young. 2. Evelyn Bridges married Harold Adams 3. Ordelta Bridges married William Baker (Several children) 4. Mildred Bridges married to James V. Roberts 5. Opal Bridges married Charles Zettle 6.
