Hi Linda! Thanks for your posting! I've run across three orphans from NC, Solomon, Meshach and Shadrack Bridges who were sent to GA as aprentices. Your Absolom(biblical name) name might fit in with this line. I have found references in my search that a S.H. Bridges(possibly Solomon) might be my James M.'s father.Have you run across these guys?
