I am new to this list. I have an ancestor named Elinor Bridges. She married Moses Tyler 17apr1755. They lived in Essex Co, MA. From Elinor I can go back four generations of Bridges in Essex Co, MA as follows: Edmund Bridges b. ca 1612 in England m. aft mar1641 to Elizabeth ? d. 13jan1685 in Ipswich, Essex Co, MA Edmund and Elizabeth had John Bridges b. ca 1647 m. 05dec1666 to Sarah Howe John and Sarah had James Bridges b. 03jan1671 in Topsfield, Essex Co, MA m 24may1692 in Andover, Essex Co, MA to Sarah Marston d. 24apr1739 in Andover James and Sarah had James Bridges b. 16feb1695 in Andover m. 28dec1721 in Newbury, Essex Co, MA to Eleanor Moody James and Eleanor had Elinor Bridges m. 17apr1755 to Moses Tyler d. 31jan1766 If any of these Bridges sound familiar to you, I would like to compare notes.
