Hello, I am very excited about this new Bridges list. I am researching my husbands Bridges line and would love to compare notes with others. John BRIDGES and wife Lydia WARNER were in Ogelthorpe Co GA in the early 1800s. John is on the 1830 Bibb Co GA census and Lydia is on the 1840 Twigg Co GA census as a widow. Their children are: John BRIDGES Jr. ( he bought and sold land with his father in 1816 Bibb Co GA and 1825 Twigg Co GA) Benjamin Franklin BRIDGES b. 1807 GA d. 1890 Shelby Co TX m. 1st Nancy HOOKS 4 Jan 1835 Wilkinson Co GA m.2nd Mary Ann NICHOLS 27 Feb 1851 Bibb Co GA Nathan S. BRIDGES m. Nancy HARDY I believe John Sr. had a brother Joseph who also lived in Oglethorpe Co GA. Joseph m. Ann (Nancy) PIERCE of Wilkes Co GA.
