Hi Charles, For the life of me, I cannot understand why your post did not reach me the other way. THANK YOU so much for trying this way. I did not even know that there was a problem as I have been receiving a lot of posts. You mention a book that you have. Will you please look in it to see if there is any mention of the Bridges people about whom I posted to you? I have found a cousin whom my mother has known nearly since she met Daddy close to 60 years ago. She has a copy of "The Battle Book" and I'm working on trying to get pages copied out of it after the holidays. I was able to get 50 pages by trying to borrow the book through the inter-library loan program. That book has some Bridges stuff in it. With the EXTREMELY trying times of the last 6 months for my family, I've not had time to go to the HFC across the metro area but one time. They have a microfilm copy of this book. I own a copy of the book "A Family Named Fort". After things calm down a little, I plan to offer look ups to this group.
