Still I hunt for my elusive, Wm Clayton BRIDGES, Sr who was born 1807 in Springfield, TN. He m/ Amanda MANTLE (1807-?). Their son, Wm Clayton BRIDGES, Jr was also in my line... Wm Clayton BRIDGES, Jr (1836-1869) m/1865 +Mary Amelia FORT (1846-1875) [She later m/2 James BELL on 3 Sept 1871.] Wm & Mary had at least 2 children: John Thompson BRIDGES (my line) (1866-1949)m/1 +Gillie McMURRY (1866-1914) and m/2 +Johnnie MARKHAM Ida Eudora BRIDGES (1868-1898) +John KELTON (Ida & John had son, Jack KELTON and dau Pearl KELTON) John & Gillie had these 7 children: Frank Clayton BRIDGES, Sr (1888-1935) m/1920 +Rebecca Florence SMITH (1895-1931) Garnett Ewing BRIDGES (1890-1952) Nell BRIDGES (1892-?)
