Hi. I'm brand new to this digest. I'm starting to look into my family history. I'm not sure what the format is for requests/discussions, so please excuse my request if I'm ignoring some protocol. My name is Scott Bridges, currently living in Chapin, SC (suburb of Columbia). My hometown was Youngwood, PA. My father was Orbin Bridges, same hometown. My grandfather was Frank Bridges, same hometown. I can go back another generation or 2 but I don't have the info handy at work. As far as I know my family is all from the western PA/Ohio valley area. I can also provide more detail on birth/death dates, etc. Does anyone have any info on the Bridges family in this area? I would be willing to provide any data that I have as well.
