    3. Hi, Dawnene. I cannot answer your question for sure. All I do know is that a lot of the descendants of "my" John lived in Robertson Co, TN and in Logan Co, KY. And, although I have always loved family names, I too wish that these people had used some different names. But then, people get really confused with the fact that one of my grandfathers was Leslie Combs .... which was also my mother's name.... and is also what we named one of our daughters! So, who am I to fuss. <G> Leslie --Original Message-- Hi Leslie: is that who this is? I thought that this was a different John, as your John was in NC????? Did this John live in TN after his marriage, or live in Crittenden County? (Crittenden County was actually part of Livingston County until 1840, so they should be in Livingston County records.) Are he and Dicy buried in TN? I sure wish they'd all named their kids something besides John and Wm. Wm was b in NC, but migrated to R.C., TN and died there. I have never proven just who this John BRIDGE(R)S' wife was, as I've never seen his will. I did find out that he died bef 5 Feb 1816. My direct BRIDGES line stayed in R.C., TN until after WWII. (My father was even born there.) Many of John's descendants stayed in RC. And, I still have BRIDGES cousins there. Leslie (Bridges) Kohler --Original Message-- Hi: does anyone have knowledge of these people? Did they continue to live in Robertson County, TN? Did they have children; where are they buried, etc. Thanks, Dawnene
