Looking for William BRIDGES who married Nancy Callahand in Montgomery County GA 1829. On the 1830 census she is listed with William and a male child under 5 years of age. Would like to know when Nancy died as William is listed on the 1850 Montgomery Co. census with a Mariah who is 29 years old and his daughter Mary who is 18 years old along with other children. Also would like to know Mariah's last name. Can anyone tell me the site that I can view the 1840 Montgomery Co. GA census as I cannot find it? Thanks so much. Doris Is this Doug's wife? There is a William S. Bridges that lived in Rusk County Texas with his father James M. Bridges in the 1860 or 70 census. I believe it is one of those years. I cannot put my hands on the documentation right now. If you have access to that census you can try that. There is also a JCA Bridges (my g grandfather )living close by. James and JCA are brothers. It would be great to see you and Doug again.
