Thank you Julia. Does any of those counties list wives or children? At that time William was supposed to be married? to Nancy Callahand(Kellehand). I cannot find her death date. In 1850 Mont. co. GA he is listed with Mariah and I haven't been able to find any information on him during that 10 years. Nor on Nancy Callahand. There is a Mariah McLendon listed in 1850 in Laurens Co. with Needham McLendon who is 23 years old. But a Mirah is listed with William Bridges in 1850 in the Mont. Co. census.
