Hello Everyone, I always get such a kick out of seeing the various spellings of my ancestors' names. So, I have just revisited the 1850 Robertson Co, TN, census, for my GGGgrandfather, who was listed as William BRIDGESS. He was born in 1805, and every census I have ever checked says that he was born in TN. He lived in Crittenden Co, KY for about 2 years following his marriage. Then he went back to Robertson Co, TN.
