    3. Graham, Thanks for the reply. I just thought that I'd check with the list before I go through the Confederate pension files at the library. ----- Original Message ----- > Keith > > I think you will probably have to determine what the A S stands for. 3. Keith and Graham, Ancelem S. "Ancel" Bridges, may, or may not have been the A.S. Bridges you have referred to. He was born circa 1814 in Georgia, and died before 1880 in Ellis County, Texas. He and his family were listed in the 1850 census in Coweta County, Georgia, and in the 1860 census in Carroll County. They had removed to Ellis County, Texas before 1870, so he may have served during the War in a Georgia unit. I checked my limited Georgia Civil War records, and did not spot a Fuller's Company. I would be very interested in what you find in the pension files, and would help with any cost involved if you send for his records. 3. Ansel S. Bridges was listed at www.civilwar.nps.gov as being in the 2nd Reg. CAV of the GA state Guards, so I don't think A. S. Bridges of Fuller's company is him. He could be a son or something to him though. A.S. Bridges seems to be listed as A. Bridges in Fulton Co. GA on the 1860 census (Several of the other men were from the same Ward in Fulton Co.). If Ansel S. Bridges went to Texas, he would have filed for a pension there. I don't have access to those pensions. If A. S. Bridges or a widow filed for a pension here in GA I will post what I find to the list. Somebody will need the information even if he doesn't fit into my Bridges. I'll keep the list updated on what I find on this Bridges. Keith Bailey ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert E. Johnston" <saweedge@king.cts.com> > Keith and Graham, > > Ancelem S.
