    3. Still looking for parents of JONATHAN BRIDGES, b. 27 Sep 1775, somewhere in SC, according to census records. Wife, NANCY PATAN/PATON also born in SC, and I have no idea who her parents were. They went from SC to Barren Co., KY/Allen Co., KY by 1805, then to Lawrence Co., IN in 1829, and then to Martin Co., IN.     3. Donna, my gg grandfather was William Bridges b. about 1800 KY and married Nancy ?(May be Whitley/Whitney) b. about 1804/07 KY They moved from KY to Montgomery Co. MO and then to Polk Co. MO and then back to Montgomery Co., MO one of their children was John (Jonathan) Davidson Bridges b. 1844 Montgomery Co. MO. Other children are James m. Susannah Patton; Melinda m. William Patten and Hayden/Haden and Marion. Could William be a son of your Jonathan as I think Barren Co. is where he was born. Census records have him with other Barren Co. Bridges families.
