(parents Thomas and Annie Bridges, unproven). William married Sarah Perry, abt 1822 in Claiborne County TN. Son Thompson Bridges, born 23 Feb 1823, married (1) Nancy Gibson in 1843 at Jackson County, MO. She died in 1853 and he married (2) Mary Anderson, 1854, Marion County Iowa. William, Sarah, Thompson and Mary all died in Marion Couty, Iowa. William Bridges had a sister, Rachel, born 1790, died 1866 in Brown Couty, IL. She married Edmond Perry, brother to Sarah Perry. William and Sarah Perry Bridges had the following children in addition to Thompson. Nancy, Julius S., James and Rachel.
