ANOTHER UPDATE: I sent the message below with a 1 Meg attachment to BRIDGES-L last night, but since I did not get it back, I assume that no one else got it either. Apparently rootsweb does not accept attachments or messages that large. That leaves only one option, send directly to each of you who requested copies. Because of the size of each page, I will have to send them one at a time. Those of you who still want a soft copy, please send your address directly to me. [email protected] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: I tried to send both files, but the great and glorious Microsoft Network cut me off at about half way. So now I will try sending only the executable version. ========================================================= I have scanned all 6 pages of the Mills Bridges documents at 300 dpi and was able to print a page to check the quality. It looked pretty good at 360 dpi printer output. I saved the images as jpeg files but could never get my printer to print them. So I tried using Presto Pagemaker which changes them to executable files (.exe). My son uses that mode for sending photos to his Typhoon Club friends, and they all rave about it. Since each page is almost a megabyte, I am only sending one page in both formats. Those interested, try to open them and then let me know if you want the other 5 pages and which format you prefer.
