Hello fellow searchers Allen Jones Bridges census records show l0 children and as my memory recalls, I think this was in Oglethorpe Co. But by the time he got to Greene Co. Ill, I only know of the two or possible three. For sure, Flemmon b. l8ll Ga, William Croford b. l8l5 Ga then Willis b. ? (later). They were all in Smith and Wilson Co. Tenn at the same time too. Someone said we should be searching the JONES and or ALLEN lines in NC. I didn't get very far with that. I do have in another line, one James Jones in Jamestown, Vir back in the l600's and I have tried in vain to tie him in with Allen Jones Bridges. Keep me up to date, please.
