Married Sarah Perry(daughter of Nathan and Rebecca Yarborough Perry) in 1822 in Claiborne Co., TN. Children of William and Sarah: (1)Thompson Bridges, born 23 Feb 1823, died 16 Jan. 1901, Marion County Iowa. He married (1) Nancy Gibson, 9 Nov 1843, Oak Grove, Jackson County, MO, she died 18 Mar 1853. He married (2) Mary Anderson (daughter of Robert and Lucinda Larue Anderson) 3 April 1854, Marion County, Iowa. (2)Nancy Bridges, born 1827, she married Joseph B.
