Jeanne, can't say for sure about Temperance, but I have been curious as to a connection with Moses Bridges, living next door in Madison Co., 1850. Interesting that in 1860 Madison Co., Moses' ex?wife and kids are listed as free mulatto? (of course you probably posted all this stuff ) Anyway, more to ponder. Like Anne says, theres to many "Jones" out there to be a coincidence.
