Searching for family of Robert BRIDGES born abt 1795 in SC. He married Nancy Randall abt 1817 in probably SC (She was born in York Dist, SC). The family emigrated to Pickens Co, AL by 1820. I believe they had at least 2 sons and 2 dtrs. Robert died abt 1888 and buried at Bridges Cemetery near Bethlehem in PIckens Co. Nancy died in 1860. One son, Silas, born abt 1817 in SC married Nancy Unknown born in GA 1818. Their children are: Mary (1845), John (1847) and Robert (1850). I cannot find Silas after the 1870 Pickens Co census. There are other BRIDGES living in Pickens Co during the 1800's but I can't make any connections. They are: Edward Bridges, Edwin Bridges, Edmund Bridges, William Bridges, Kedmin Bridges, Harnet Bridges, John Bridges, Holman Bridges, Dorsa Bridges, Lawson Bridges.
