    2. Here is the obit for my grandfather, Garland Harley Bridges. I notice in the obit a couple of his children aren't listed, but I don't know why. One of them missing is my father James Thomas Bridges and the other my uncle (now deceased) Garland Harley Bridges, Jr. He was the son of James Monroe Bridges and Emma Toon. Record Searchlight, Redding, CA Tues. Sept 9, 1986 G. H. Bridges Graveside services for G.H. "Gary" Bridges, 71, of Redding will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Redding Cemetery. Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars District 20 Honor Guard will officiate. Visitation is until 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald's Redding Chapel. Mr. Bridges died Monday at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. Born Aug. 26, 1915, in Winslow, Ark., he was a bartender at the Golden Eagle in Redding for 35 years. He is survived by wife Peggy; sons William, Stan, Jeff, Kenneth Lee and Sean Michael, all of Redding, Ed Mason of Red Bluff and Michael Ponke of Chico; daughters Jackie Wade, Debra Passmore and Karen Gannon, all of Redding, and Roberta "Bobbie" McCubbin of Loomis; brothers Charles of Dutch Flat and Clyde of Lancaster; 20 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
