I have a Thomas Henry Bridges b in Lawrence Co. MO in 1844 father Guilford Bridges, mother unknown. Guilford was married to Luranda or Luraina but had not been married more than a year to her in the 1850 Census. Guilford left MO at the time of the Civil War. It is believed that they left during the turmoil that took place in MO at that time. Guilford never went back but sold his land by proxy from Paris TX. He had 3 sons to serve in the Civil War. They settled in Llano and then Thomas moved to Bell Co, just south of Salado, Prairie Dell. Don't know if this is any connection or not. But thought I would give you this information for what it is worht. Nelda D. Crews http://www.mistycal.com/prairiedelltexas/default.htm This website has a brief Prairie Dell, TX history!
