    2. Robert, Doesn't sound like the same one then. I had heard that our James Monroe (1879-1938) married once before his marriage to Emma Toon (1900), though I have not confirmed it. Our James Monroe ended up leaving Arkansas and going to Amador City, CA which is where he died.     3. Thanks for reply on James Monroe Bridges. If anyone has mine 1847- about 1882 in Hardin County, Tennessee please let me know. His wife was Mary E. Johnson who moved to Cleveland County, Arkansas and died 1923. He might be the son of James Riley Bridges 1821-1907 in TN. Any info appreciated.
