    3. >Dear Graham, These names ring a bell; so does yours. In the History of Webster Co., GA book, in a few pages photocopied for me years ago, I find on pg 188 a Graham Forrest Bridges and Graham Bernard Bridges. I am descended from John Radford Bridges who had a daughter Ada who married Dr. Walter Calhoun SIMS. There was a son Shelton Sorrell Bridges who married Mary McClellan. Other children included my grandfather William Charles Bridges. The family lived in Brooksville, GA. Many of them moved to Florida (Blountstown and other areas in the northern part of the state). I don't have pg. 187 of that book, unfortunately. And most of my info is sketchy. Maybe Webster Co., GA might help???? Would love to know if this leads you someplace fruitful! 3. Melanie At the time I got your note about the Stewart County Georgia History Book I was not aware of the connection with Graham Forrest Bridges and the others that you mentioned. I knew that there was a Shelton in my line but not some of the others. Since the advent of DNA groups I have found that I am connected with the line that you mention. However, I am not sure how. The Shelton that you mention is even more intriguing since James M. Bridges had a son by that name. Previously, I thought that the names might be a coincidence. Now I am not so sure but would like to know more about your Shelton Sorrell Bridges. When was he born and did he have a relative named Shelton that you are aware of. Also, Do you have a male Bridges family member that has joined the DNA group? I would like to hear from you if you are still interested. Sorry, that I did not persue further at the time. My e-mail address is putter@gvtc.com Thanks for your interest. 3. Hey Graham, Don't mean to get into the middle of a conversation, but the Stewart County Vol 2 is sitting right in front of me. I would be glad to do lookups for anyone interested. Sorry Graham, but I found no listing for a Shelton and or Sorrell Bridges.
