    3. Hello Bridges List, All this talk about the Bridges folks in Texas causes me to ask again about a Bridges line I have worked for some years, and have lost somewhere in Texas. Ancelem S. "Ancel" Bridges, born circa 1814, Georgia, son of Wiley Jones Bridges, married Huldah Westmoreland in 1837 in Coweta County Georgia. She was born in 1816, Georgia, daughter of Reuben Westmoreland. They are listed in the 1850 census in Coweta County and in the 1860 census in Carroll County, Georgia. Before 1870, they are thought to have removed to near Ennis, Ellis County, Texas, where both are said to be buried. I have not been able to find them in the 1870 or 1880 census. >From the aforementioned census records, they had, all born in Georgia: 1. Keziah Bridges (c. 1838). 2. Mary Jones "Sis" Bridges (c. 1839), who married (1) Barney Thompson, two children, and (2) David Warren. 3. Morgan Bridges (c. 1840). 4. James M. Bridges (c. 1842). 5. Simon or Simmons Bridges (c. 1844). 6. Julia Ann Bridges (c. 1846), who married W.A. Martin. 7. Reuben Bridges (c. 1848). 8. Henrietta Bridges (c. 1849), who married Thomas Henry Stephenson. 9. William Bridges (c. 1850). 10. Martha A. Bridges (c. 1853). 11. Ezekiel Bridges (c. 1855). 12. Anker or Anka??? Bridges (c. 1857). 13. Arain? Bridges (c. 1859). Does anyone have access to Ellis County census records for 1870? I could not find any of these folks. I'm probably looking in the wrong place. They are all on the line reflected in the DNA test page attributed to Nathaniel Bridges of North Carolina (Number 13185). Any help appreciated! Bob Johnston
