I am going to post my William B. Bridges again since it has been some time since I did it last. My William B. (Brewer) Bridges was born ca 1810 in NC moved to Wilson Co Tn and was married on his 18th birthday to Rebecca W. Sherrill (dau of Uriah & Polly G. Sullivan Sherrill) supposedly in Wilson Co Tn but have never found the marriage record. William and Rebecca were in Henderson Co Tn in 1835 when Uriah Sherrill's will was probated. I found them on the 1850 Ripley Co Mo census, they moved on to Randolph Co Arkansas and he died in 1868 in Greene Co Ark. According to the Goodspeed History of Randolph Co Ark. William B. was the eldest of 15 children, but I only know of three. William B. , Elizabeth C. and Mary S. His parents were listed as Benjamin b 1790 of NC and Winnfried Brewer Bridges. The Brewers are documented very well but I can not get back to proof Benjamin as father. I could assume that this is correct as the mother's maiden name was Brewer as was William's middle name. But you know what assuming does. William and Rebecca had the following children: Alva B. M. Bridges b Apr 1835 in Tn (my ggr-grandfather) Mary A. "Polly" Bridges abt 1832 Emarintha R. Bridges abt 1840 Susan F. Bridges Oct 1849 I have no male descendants to do the dna test, My William Bridges only had daughters that survived. I know of no male descendants from A M . Thanks, Wilma
