GA and KY Bridges connections: I am trying to make sense of the Caldwell County, KY Bridges line. Why did Berry J. Bridges go there from Oglethorpe, GA (were there relatives there?), and when did he go back? Did he leave some children there? Who were the Benjamin, John, Thomas, and William Bridges that were there with him? Other, or later names include Morrell (Merrill?), David L., David Seburn, Harrison C., Jackson, Nathan, and Tolley, and Phebe. Did some of these go to Livingston County? Was there lots of interaction between the GA and KY Bridges? A Benjamin Bridges, wife Frances Ann, receive Rev. pension there in 1820's. He was from NC -- whose son was he? Was he brother to Berry J.? Harrison C Bridges, and John C. Bridges, both born in Caldwell in the 1830's, move to and marry in Marshall county, KY. Whose children are they? Are they related to William Clayton Bridges, born in the 1830's, who moved to TN? Liv County names: John H. Bridges (born in 1812), John R. Bridges (son of John H, born in 1835); Harrison Bridges (moved to Pope County, Il in 1855), Larkin Bridges, and Wm. Bridges. Are John H., Harrison, Larkin, and Wm children of John Bridges who married Mary Miller in 1810, and then probably moved to Yazoo Cnty, MS? Did they move back to their father's land on Deer Creek? Here are names of children of the Livingston County, Bridges -- most of whom lived on Deer Creek: John Bridges - (married Lucy) son John R. Bridges; daughter Martha Harrison Bridges - (married Lucinda Glass); children John, Margaret, Jane, David Barnhill, Francis Marion Wm Bridges - (married Eliza O'Neal Ramage) children Carlisle, John, Wm, Elizabeth Larkin Bridges - (married Sally Brown) children?? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Dawnene
