    2. John Bridges born 1745 in Wayne County NC (may have been Bertie county in those days) was married to Abigail Coggeshall and had 12 children per my LDS info. His father was Samuel Bridges born 1721 Wayne co NC. The list goes back to Isle of Wight Virginia. Johns children was: Nathanial born 1765 William born 1768 Young Young born 1769 Charity born 1770 John born 1773 Mary Ann born 1774 Berry J (my ggggrandfather) born 1776 Sarah born 1778 Benjamin born 1781 Celia born 1786 Terrry C born 1790 Henry born 1794. For sure Berry J and Nathanial went to Oglethrope and then Berry J kids went to Caldwell co. Kentucky.

    3. Hi, The John Bridges born in 1773 very well could be who I was looking for. Have you run across anything else on him? If it is the same person, he moved to Franklin Co. Georgia at least by 1801. Their also was a William Bridges in Franklin Co. in 1780; my cousins thought that he could have been the father. Looking at your list, I see that it would also be possible that he was a brother. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, January 25, 2001 10:00 PM Subject: Re: [BRIDGES-L] Am I still subscribed??? > John Bridges born 1745 in Wayne County NC (may have been Bertie county in > those days) was married to Abigail Coggeshall and had 12 children per my LDS > info.
