Hi, I have a Orlando Shelton m/ Dolly Bridges (no documentation). Dolly went insane and died in Milliageville, GA. A cousin of mine said that his father and uncle( her nephews) couldn't afford to bring her body back for burial (probably during the depression). My grandmother and some cousins thought she had about 3 children. I haven't yet found any information, but she came home once, but was sent back. I think Orlando either left North Georgia with the children or they were all killed. In other words, your Orlando might not be the same. It is possible that he is one of their nephews. Dolly would have had between 10-13 brothers and sisters. I only have information on a few of them. If this story sounds familiar let me know; we may be able to help each other.
