    3. Just a comment about the http://www.familysearch.com site . You are right that the entries made by public submitters cab be wrong. But the IGI records are copies of actual records and then there is there lib. which is factual. A person should never take what is someone elses research as fact. YOU MUST ALWAYS look for the DOCUMENTATION to prove it. All that it gives you is a place to research to find the truth. Nelda Oh by the way, not all records are that good either...different types of documentation holds different places in the list of being believable. Census records...the census takers took info from anyone that was home...even a child as young as 10. They hold many mistakes. age, places of birth, full names, name spellings. Death certificates...made out by next of kin...not always complete and sometimes with errors, they are only as correct as the knowledge of the person filling them out. If your not sure just how good the documentation is, get a good book about documentation and read it. (SNIP) Please be careful using LDS records. I have found many mistakes and false information that I was able to verify with offical records. Much of the LDS records are family heresay and not true verified records. 3. I am not saying don't look or use them. I am only saying be sure and back your "finds" with good sources. As in all your "finds" where ever you find them.
