Does anybody have any knowledge of where these sisters are/were--Fern, Nellie,Margy, and Jenny BRIDGES? I imagine they were born in Missouri, children of James Holman Bridges and Lillie Maude Thomas who were married in November 1900 in Clifton City, Cooper Co. We have lost track of this branch, and the oldest had the family bible which I would love to see. A family member thought they moved west. The only spouse I have is Margy married Walter Ditzfeld. Social security death index has him dying in 1993 in Hiawatha, Brown, KS. Switchboard.com has no Bridges in Hiawatha. Can any of the readers help? Thanks, Margie
Any idea about these Bridges? Sarah is Abney's wife (Abney died in 1850). Abney is from KY; the son of Walter Bridges and Mary Scott Bridges. His death notice verifies his 1803 KY birth. Does anyone else connect to these people? Thanks. Hello list, found this at the library today, and at this time not sure if it is mine or someone elses; 1860 census of Scott county John Bridges aged 33 yrs from TN wife: Ann E. aged 22 from MO would appreciate any feed back if they belong to someone else. [email protected]
I have seen the ISBELL surname from KY to IN and IL. Could this be what you are looking for rather than ISABELLE (which could also be a variation.)? Have not seen it connected with Bridges yet, but they were in the same areas. Donna
Looking for others tracing the Isabelle surname in connection with the Bridges. This would be a marriage between Sarah Jane Bridges & unknown Isabelle. They had many children that I also have no information on. Would love to hear from you. Sarah Jane was my grandfather's sister. Looking for the children of Thomas Bridges and Margaret Mullins of MO. Children are M.E. 1878 (daughter) and D.W. 1874 (son) [email protected]
I dont have a maiden name for her yet. I just found her a few days ago. She is buried in Little Praire Cemetery in Caruthersville MO. died in April 1994. Havent had any luck in finding out much as i have called and no one has that record that i found. One guy German Funeral home in Hayti, says his records are with the Latter day Saints now 3 weeks so he doesnt know if he has her or not. As of now she is a mystery. I was going to check on Soc. Sec. index on her, and will try to do that today. If its there i will send away. I'll post if i find out anything. I usually do even if its just giving the info on the list to see if she will be in anyone else's line. patty ----- Original Message ----- From: rtanker <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, August 31, 2000 12:29 AM Subject: Re: [BRIDGES-L] Nellie Bridges from MO > Pat, > > James Albert Bridges b. 1881 in Minn died 1967 in West Plains Missouri > married first Winona Mildred Summers b. 1884 in Carrol County Missouri > died 1967 > married second Winona' sister Nellie Summers b.
