Hannah Bridges was born in North Carolina in 1792. Does anyone have a Hannah from that period of time, and who her parents may have been. She married in TN in 1810....it is believed her family went from N. C. to TN during that time period...She married in Wilson County. Thanks so much. Marlene Farnham
Hi, The John Bridges born in 1773 very well could be who I was looking for. Have you run across anything else on him? If it is the same person, he moved to Franklin Co. Georgia at least by 1801. Their also was a William Bridges in Franklin Co. in 1780; my cousins thought that he could have been the father. Looking at your list, I see that it would also be possible that he was a brother. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, January 25, 2001 10:00 PM Subject: Re: [BRIDGES-L] Am I still subscribed??? > John Bridges born 1745 in Wayne County NC (may have been Bertie county in > those days) was married to Abigail Coggeshall and had 12 children per my LDS > info. Does anyone have information on Richard Bridges, he is listed on the 1830 census for Buffalo twp., Armstrong county in Pa?I have found that Hamilton Bridges is witness to a will in 1854 for Wm. H. Herron in Armstrong county, Pa. I am trying to connect this Hamilton to my Hamilton in Coshocton, Ohio. The death certificate of mine says his father was Hamilton from Pa. and his mother was Sarah Morrow from Pa.

John Bridges born 1745 in Wayne County NC (may have been Bertie county in those days) was married to Abigail Coggeshall and had 12 children per my LDS info. His father was Samuel Bridges born 1721 Wayne co NC. The list goes back to Isle of Wight Virginia. Johns children was: Nathanial born 1765 William born 1768 Young Young born 1769 Charity born 1770 John born 1773 Mary Ann born 1774 Berry J (my ggggrandfather) born 1776 Sarah born 1778 Benjamin born 1781 Celia born 1786 Terrry C born 1790 Henry born 1794. For sure Berry J and Nathanial went to Oglethrope and then Berry J kids went to Caldwell co. Kentucky.
Thanks for the response, Bob. Do you know the parents of John? James Bridges came from VA, married Susannah Rich in NC--had seven or eight children, possibly your John and my Burrell being two of them. They settled in Oglethorpe and Randolph counties in GA. Hope we connect; we like to find "cousins"! Doug Doug Bridges Homestead, FL [email protected]
Hello. I come from a family of Bridges who were first in NC then GA. John Bridges was the father of my line, Berry J Bridges. John also had a william for a son and a daughter named Sarah. Are these people who you are talking about? My info comes from LDS. Bob Bridges [email protected]

Please Patty may I have a scanned death cert. for James W. BRIDGES? I don't have a James but thought I would just stick it back...who knows? Thanks, Doris [email protected] wrote: > Does anyone have a Thomas Warren Bridges from MO, and mother was Flora Congine, and father was Jos. Bridges Interesting enough, I have a death certificate for a Thomas Warren Bridges from MO, his son was Jos. BridgesJr. from Essex (I guess Essex is in MO, I am not sure) This Thomas Warren has NO birth date on the death certifcate, and date of death is Aug 3, 1918,was his death date, and he died in France by a hand grenade! Although I am not wanting to part with the death cert, as I am not sure yet if he is in my family or not, I am willing to scan it for any interested party. > [email protected] > Patty
