My William married Abagail McNutt in 1830 in Huron Co, Ohio. He is listed in the 1840 and 1850 census in Margaretta township, which your Hunt family also lived. William and his family moved west after that. I don't know if he kept in touch with his family after moving. Most of the census say William was born ca. 1805 in Vermont. Too bad the census doesn't give which county he was born. With all that said, my thoughts are they have to be related, but how can we know for sure.
