What sources are you using to research? You can find US census and other selected databases by the state, on familysearch.org, in the pilot program. This is a free site. If you know where they were in Michigan in 1930, you might want to share that detail. If you know the county in Michigan, posting on the locality board is preferable than than posting on the brick wall board. A brick wall is when you've exhausted all research possibilities. In order for others to understand your brick wall, you need to post everything you know in minute detail and where you've already searched.
