I do not have much to go on. I have documentation from his family (ssi apps and birth certs)that have conflicting information on his name. Axel/Alec/Alexander Knutson b in WI is all I know. His wife, Carrie Klatt/Kleth Knutson is listed in her maiden name on the 1900 census with her kids: Guy, Meda and Arthur Clat. In 1910 it lists Carrie and her kids under Knutson: Meda and Francis Knutson. In several city directories it lists Carrie as a widow of Alexander. Sometime after Arthurs birth (1894) and before the birth of her daughter Francis (1905) Carrie married a Knutson, and said Knutson passed away, but I have been unable to identify who that is.
