I wonder why 2 small children would be boarding without any other relatives. Tried finding more info on the Joseffy's since they are listed as Ellenor's cousin, but not finding anything on them other than that census. Found a couple family trees for the Tidey family, but that's not resulting in any hints as to why they had children boarders. I did see that 1944 arrival record. Chances are that is the same John as I found as a seaman in the Navy on the 1930 census. I haven't checked court records, not sure where I would go for that. I am planning to go see if I can track down a marriage record for them, but that might be tricky since I have no approximate date.
