I actually have the SF-180 all filled out to request his military file (just needed a stamp) but I didn't have his service number or date of enlistment. I see that you're supposed to be able to request the files online since they're in the archives now, but every time I try the eVetRecs I can't get past the vet/next-of-kin requirement.
